In India, Panjabi is written in the Gurmukhi script. Evolution of Gurmukhi script can be traced back to a couple of thousand years. The name Gurmukhi was used by Guru Angad Dev, the second master of sikh faith.The sikh holy scriptures 'Granth Sahib' is written in Gurmukhi. It has 40 letters.
